For the last couple of months we have been updating our reading room into a Savvy Senior Space. We are having programs on the first and third Wednesdays of each month, at 10am, in the new space and we’ve tried to pick things that are of interest to older adults. This week we held our 1st program which was on Medicare and Dispelling the Confusion. The next program coming up will be on Wednesday, Nov. 20th and it will be a Make & Take Woodworking Program run by local artist Harlan Barkley and woodworker Bob Powell. Hear how these 2 got their start, working with wood, and about the various crafts and projects that each make with it. The first 8 people who sign up for the program will get to make a wood project to take home that day. The sign-up sheet is located on the front desk in the library. Don’t delay, sign up today!
