Fall has arrived and with that comes the annual basket fundraiser. The silent auction will run from Nov. 5th thru Nov. 17th. In the past we have had many different themes for our basket fundraisers but this year we have decided to "LEAF" it up to you. The library is looking for donations of filled baskets or anything that would or could be found in a basket. Themes could be Thanksgiving, birthdays, kids fun, pets, etc. How about an Italian basket with pastas, sauces, olive oil, a cookbook, etc. Or a winter basket with cups and hot cocoa? The sky is the limit. If you have an idea for a basket but don't have a basket to put the items in, the library has several that can be taken and filled. We wrap and ribbon the baskets, number them and spend a few hours trying to come up with catchy titles. Please turn in items for baskets, or baskets themselves, by Saturday, Nov.3rd.
