Ice Cream Social!

The Penny War is over and we didn’t win, but it was so close, only $5.05 difference between us and first place.  So we want to show you, our customers and donors, how much we appreciate you and all you do for the library.  On Tuesday, August 24th, from 4pm to 6pm we will be serving ice cream with your choice of toppings, and root beer floats.  Please stop in and have a treat on us, for all the kindness and support that you have given our library.

7/20/21 The Penny War wages on!

The penny war continues between the 5 libraries in Green Lake County. People dug down into the couch cushions, and looked under the front seats of their cars to help us, the smallest of the 5 libraries, take first place for the 2nd week in a row with a total of $483.00 collected. Berlin is in 2nd place, and not that far behind, with a total of $389.05 collected. Princeton, Markesan, and Green Lake are in 3rd, 4th, and 5th spots. The war goes on until the end of July, with totals being posted each Monday on the library websites and Facebook pages. The losing librarians will be serving ice cream at the winning library after the contest ends. I’m thinking root beer floats, and banana splits. How about you?
