Collecting School Supplies

It's that time of year, with school starting in another month or so, and parents and children both thinking about what school supplies will be needed.  Once again the Kingston-Dalton-Marquette Business Association will be holding their annual collection for school supplies.  Boxes for the supplies will be at the following businesses:  Stellmacher Lumber in Fairwater, Ted's Piggly Wiggly in Markesan, Wayside BP in Manchester, National Exchange Bank in Kingston, and The Mill Pond Library in Kingston.  The supplies benefit children in the district who can't afford the necessary supplies needed to start the school year.

If you happen to be out shopping and don't have a school supply list with you, you can always pick up any of the following, which almost every class uses.  Boxes of Kleenex, hand sanitizer, #2 pencils, wide lined notebooks, glue sticks, scissors, or folders.

Thank you to the businesses who allow us to use their facilities for the boxes.  And a big "Thank You" to the people who generously donate to help the children in the Markesan School District.
